This Safety Cutter Ring from Slice offers precision and control through a micro-ceramic blade that moves with your finger. Slip the comfortable silicone ring onto the tip of either index finger and pull your hand along the line you want to cut. This unique tool is ideal for paper, packing tape, and clamshell packaging. The included silicone adapter ring ensures that the 10583 will fit everyone; for larger fingers, simply remove the adapter. Equipped with a finger-friendly® blade, the Safety Cutter Ring cuts effectively but is safe to the touch. Its advanced ceramic blade lasts up to 11 times longer than steel. Slice®’s 10568 Ceramic Scalpel (Replaceable Blade) has a slim, flat handle (only 4.1 mm thick), is capable of reaching into tight spaces, and includes a replaceable 10518 Slice safety blade. The 10568 uses the same blades as the Slice Craft Knife: non-magnetic, non-sparking, non-conductive, chemically inert, and rust free. The blades are autoclave-friendly and safe up to 1600 degrees Celsius, while the handle is lightly weighted for balance and stability.

These narrow, pointed-tip seam ripper blades are ideal for opening the initial stitches in a seam, to slide between very narrow stitches, or to get into other tight spaces. They feature the Slice® finger-friendly® edge, which cuts effectively but is safe to the touch (lowering injuries) and last up to 11 times longer than metal blades. Because we use 100 percent zirconium oxide, these blades are also non-conducting, non-sparking, non-magnetic, chemically inert, and will never rust. Slice® makes the first safety seam ripper blades on the market, featuring rounded tips and our signature finger-friendly® edge, which cuts effectively but is safe to the touch. Because our blades are made from 100 percent zirconium oxide, they are non-magnetic, non-sparking, non-conductive, chemically inert, and never rust. They are also very strong and last up to 11 times longer than comparable metal blades. While these blades are designed for the Slice seam ripper handles, they are also compatible with Slice craft handles, scalpel, and Precision Knife. Slice® 10544 Scissors bring our proprietary finger-friendly® grind to scissors. This means that, while our scissors cut materials effectively, they also resist cutting skin. Used in industrial, institutional, and educational settings alike, these lightweight scissors are ambidextrous and durable. Soft-touch finger grips line their tough glass-filled nylon handles for the ideal mix of strength and comfort. As with all our ceramic blades, these are non-sparking and chemically inert.

As easy to use as it is to pick up, this squeeze knife deploys its blade as soon as you squeeze the trigger. Ideal for use with work gloves, the 10494 comes with the added safety of a finger-friendly® blade and smart retraction. This mechanism automatically retracts the blade once it loses contact with the material you’re cutting, even if you’re still squeezing the trigger. This means accidental slips or drops are no longer a hazard for legs, arms, or any coworker that gets in the way at the wrong moment. The Slice® 10558 Smart-Retracting Utility Knife features our two newest innovations: Smart Retract technology and the Ergo Pull™ slider. This is our most advanced and safest utility knife with multiple precautions to keep you injury-free. Smart Retract pulls the blade back into its housing as soon as it loses contact with the cutting material, even if you still have your finger on the slider. Ergo Pull reduces muscle strain, allowing you to slide and cut in the same direction.

The Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife with a design that’s ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to unlock the blade guard. Then, press the tool down, flush, onto the cutting surface and pull to make the cut. Once the 10477 is no longer held against the cutting surface, its blade guard redeploys, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip. As with all Slice tools, the Super-Safe™ Carton Opener features a finger-friendly® blade that’s safe to the touch, cuts effectively, and lasts up to 11 times longer than comparable steel blades. The installed rounded-tip blade (10526) can also be replaced with an optional pointed-tip blade (10528) for materials that require puncturing to initiate the cut.
