The Slice® 10540 Industrial Blades (Serrated) add new functionality to our industrial knives. Their serrated edge is ideal for applications that require sawing—it also continues the Slice safety tradition by featuring our patent-pending finger-friendly® grind. As with all Slice blades, the 10540 lasts up to 11 times longer than comparable metal blades. This longevity reduces the number of blade changes and lowers the cost of ownership. In addition, these blades are non-sparking, non-conductive, and chemically inert. They have no oil coating and require no maintenance.

The Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife with a design that’s ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to unlock the blade guard. Then, press the tool down, flush, onto the cutting surface and pull to make the cut. Once the 10477 is no longer held against the cutting surface, its blade guard redeploys, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip. As with all Slice tools, the Super-Safe™ Carton Opener features a finger-friendly® blade that’s safe to the touch, cuts effectively, and lasts up to 11 times longer than comparable steel blades. The installed rounded-tip blade (10526) can also be replaced with an optional pointed-tip blade (10528) for materials that require puncturing to initiate the cut.
