Slice® Utility Blades (Rounded Tip)

This Mini Cleaver brings Slice® quality to a different kind of handheld cutting tool. Whether you’re cutting thin wires, lab samples, or manufacturing components, you’ll appreciate its hand feel. Slice designed a thicker handle with soft-touch overlay for a comfortable, sturdy grip. The Mini Cleaver has features like a lanyard hole and blade guard storage in the handle so it’s as convenient as it is robust. The 10497 comes with a rounded-tip utility blade and is compatible with our pointed-tip and serrated utility blades (10524, 10525, 10523 respectively). The advanced-ceramic blade features Slice’s proprietary finger-friendly® edge, which is safe to the touch and lasts up to 11 times longer than comparable steel blades. The chemically inert blade can be autoclaved and never rusts.

To expose the blade of the popular 10493 tool, simply squeeze the trigger mechanism and you’re ready to go. A blade-lock switch prevents accidental blade exposure. As with all Slice blades, the installed blade has a finger-friendly edge that’s specifically engineered to be safe to the touch and lower the risk of lacerations. In addition, the zirconium oxide blades lasts up to 11x longer than metal blades and never rusts. Other convenient features include an integrated lanyard hole and easy, no-tool blade change.
